You come in for your hair. You leave having healed something.
I have been doing hair for over 32 years.
Somewhere along the way, hair became about so much more.
I began losing my own hair, and I started noticing the same thing happening to other women and young ladies — younger and younger, some in their twenties, some even younger than that. Brown women and girls losing their hair, and not many was connecting the dots.
So I started connecting them.
Most of the time it comes back to gut health, autoimmune issues, and a body that’s been pushed past its limit. It’s internal. And no product or style can fix what’s happening on the inside.
That’s why I built BeautÉfied the way I did. Not just a salon. A space where we look at the whole woman — her hair, her health, her healing.
This work is personal, Because it started with me.
